Did you know that as we age, our ears and noses continue to grow? Our eyes, on the other hand, tend to look smaller as the skin around them wrinkles and our lids get droopy. Bigger eyes not only make us appear younger; they can also give the impression that we're more awake and alert. And making the most of our eyes is quick and easy, when you have the right tools. Here's all you need to do:

1. Shape your eyebrows. Nothing can more quickly open up your face and brighten your eye area that having the right eyebrow shape. For a step-by-step instruction on tweezing your eyebrows, please read Create Perfect Eyebrows.
2. Keep your eyebrows groomed and free of strays. Once you have a great eyebrow shape, it's important to maintain that look. Aside from plucking stray hairs as they grow, you'll also want to keep your eyebrows from getting too long or bushy. For tips on trimming your eyebrows, check out Trimming Unruly Eyebrows.
3. Curl your lashes. The quickest, most effective way to make your eyes look bigger and brighter is to curl your eyelashes. A good metal eyelash curler is a girl's best friend! A few seconds of curling (top lashes only) will do wonders for your eyes. Follow up with your favorite mascara to seal in the curl, but remember...always curl first on clean, dry lashes, THEN apply mascara.

Extra Tip:  To separate and define lashes, or remove mascara clumps, glide a pin-toothed eyelash comb through them.
